Only one commitment.
The candidates of the movement if elected will undertake at their own expense the creation of an internet site where citizens will have the chance to express, at any moment, during the entire legislative process, their own opinions
The citizen will have the opportunity to propose laws and amendments and to give orders directly to their own representative, putting to the vote of other citizens their own proposals and ideas.
If a proposal is voted for favourably by the majority of the people, the representative will limit himself to carrying out, without any comment, what is set out in the proposal.
Fact! A member of Parliament is simply a representative of a group of citizens.
The duty of a representative is that of doing what he is instructed to do by the group he represents.
Fact! People pay the bill and the consequences of decisions take by politicians.
People must decide not politicians. |
The truth.
The movement is run money-free; it has no intention of asking for or using any kind of public or private funding.
Why? We believe that it is unfair to use public money, that is to say money gained by making the British Citizens pay taxes, to finance the electoral campaigns of the politicians.
Fact! A few years ago the European Parliament approved a directive to finance the major European political parties.
Money taken from the coffers of the European Community were obviously monies obtained by making British Citizens pay taxes.
Fact! In the past 3 years the European Union has give away more than 31 millions in grant to political party. |
